We’re 100% sure this is something you’ve heard before:
“You need to eat your vegetables.”
We know it sounds cliché, it’s one of the oldest bits of advice in the book…but there are benefits to eating veggies that you may not know about.
The color of the vegetables you eat really cannot be overstated.
Because depending on the health goals you’ve set for yourself, picking veggies of a certain color can have a major impact on your health.
Take carrots and sweet potatoes for example, they get their orange color from carotenoids…
These are antioxidants proven to provide your immune system a boost, keep your eyesight sharp, and protect your skin from harmful sun damage. (1)
And the red pigment you see in tomatoes?
Well, that’s thanks to a compound called lycopene, which has been proven to play a key role in preventing your prostate health from degrading. (2)
When you’ve got the right supplements, like Prostavol’s Prostate Support, and your diet is rich with colorful red veggies, you’ll ensure that your body is receiving the kinds of compounds it needs to help your prostate stay healthy.
So try making tomatoes a bigger part of your weekly routine — trust us, it’s easier than you think.
To show you, we’re going to share a tasty breakfast recipe with you. It’s so easy, you can even give this a try tomorrow morning:
4 large (8
Olive oil Salt and pepper, to taste
4 large eggs 3 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil, for garnish
The first step is to get your oven preheated to 400 degrees.
Now, while that’s going, slice the top quarter off each of your tomatoes. Using a paring knife or a spoon, scoop out the core of the tomato.
When that’s done, place them in a baking pan that’s 2-inches deep and lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle them with some salt, pepper, and chopped garlic. And last, but not least, drizzle some olive oil right on top.
Place them in the oven for 20 minutes, or until the tomatoes have begun to break down ever so slightly.
Once that happens, remove the pan from the oven. Now’s where the eggs come into play.
Carefully crack one egg into each tomato. Don’t worry about the egg whites dribbling over the sides. Return your pan to the oven for another 6-8 minutes (or until the yolks have begun to set.)
Next, remove the pan from the oven and top your concoction with some parmesan cheese. Pop everything back in one more time, for just a minute or two.
This will add a wonderful crispness to the cheese and make everything so much more flavorful. Just top them with some basil and you’re ready to go.
You can serve these warm, or at room temperature.
Not only is this recipe healthy, and delicious, it’s extremely simple.
So, the next time you’re preparing breakfast and try adding a bit of color to your meal with these incredible eggy tomatoes above.
Between this and Prostavol’s Prostate Support, we don’t know of too many ways to add some prostate friendly compounds to your diet that are better than this.
